Free to download and install. Without a purchased license, EQ, Dynamic EQ, and Compressor stay at their flat, unprocessed defaults.

After connecting a new audio device or switching your output, allow 10–30 seconds for Atout Audio to reconnect before EQ and volume changes apply.

Windows SmartScreen may show a warning for new software from an unrecognized publisher — this is expected for newly released apps. Atout Audio is digitally signed with a GlobalSign code signing certificate. If you see this warning, click "More info" then "Run anyway" to proceed with installation.

macOS and Linux are not supported. Atout Audio relies on the Windows Audio Processing Object framework, which is Windows-only by design.
Not currently supported: Bluetooth audio devices and professional/pro-audio USB interfaces (e.g., devices using ASIO or proprietary manufacturer drivers) are not supported in v1. Please confirm your output device is a standard Realtek (onboard) or USB Audio Class device before purchasing — see Pricing for details.

What to expect at setup

  1. Download and install

    Download the signed Atout Audio installer from this page and run it. Atout Audio automatically detects and attaches to your active playback devices — no manual selection needed.

  2. Check compatibility before you buy

    With the app running, confirm the real-time spectrum display reacts while audio is playing. This tells you Atout Audio is properly connected to your device.

  3. Purchase and get your license key

    Once you've confirmed compatibility, purchase a license and get your key by email — no account needed.

  4. Enter your key and start shaping your sound

    Activate instantly with your license key. The full EQ, Dynamic EQ, and Compressor chain is ready to use immediately.

After connecting a new audio device (especially USB) or switching your default output, Atout Audio may take about 10–30 seconds to attach. EQ and volume changes may not apply immediately — please wait a moment.
